The Story of Mambo
Mambo started as a simple idea: to create a place that feels open, quiet, and easy to stay in. Set above Kuta, the villas are built in bamboo, with wide views and the natural landscape all around. The open design keeps each space light, with air moving freely and every room following the shape of its surroundings.
Built with natural materials and carefully positioned within the landscape, everything stays connected to nature. The architecture works with the setting rather than separating itself from it, creating spaces that feel open to what is around them. Close enough to town, yet far enough to feel separate, Mambo offers a slower side of Kuta while keeping everything within easy reach.
Some days are spent doing very little, enjoying the villa and the views around it. Others begin with a trip into town, a day at the beach, or exploring further across Lombok. There is no single way to spend your time here. Both belong here.

Living With The Nature
Mambo is surrounded by tropical nature, and sharing the landscape with local wildlife is part of the experience. From time to time, you may spot geckos, butterflies, friendly cats, monkeys, and other native wildlife around the property. They are a natural part of the island's ecosystem and one of the things that makes staying here unique.
To maintain a comfortable environment for our guests, we also carry out regular preventive pest management in partnership with Rentokil. Treatments are scheduled twice a month and are designed to maintain high standards of cleanliness while respecting the surrounding environment.
